Rainy Seoul
I had been watching a few "random play kpop dance" videos on Youtube, and one of them was a rainy day on a street in Seoul. The colors around the ground was too nice to pass up so I decided to paint a study. The goal: stylized with good material indications.
part 2 of color balance/correcting ; added a blue blend layer since the red statue & pink coat were popping out too much
Color balanced to help blend the colors together better.
I felt that the painting was still busy, so I made some shifts in the paint to help with the focal point.
more pavement edits, as well as cleanup of the background elements with a push towards atmospheric.
more definition and details added. Mostly worked on the ground and reflections, and the trees.
