Bugology Wallpaper 3 - War with Spiders - illustration

The third wallpaper theme was a bit "up to the artist", as the reference the client sent to me looked like an airbrush + line heavy drawing for a magazine of some sort. It was a drawing and coloring style I would not be comfortable putting on my portfolio.

Since the 'reference' image the client sent me, showed a flea bug (or bed bug?) attacking/looming over a house and playground, I wanted to avoid the bug looming over a building motif. (Copyright and all of that.)

Two things I knew I wanted to include for the illustration: Spiders, due to client's request of having spiders instead of the original insect in the image he sent. And an interior setting.

The humorous details came in after I started the coloring. Can you spot them?
