El Castillo - Rune Master project illustration
The next illustration for the game project, was El Castillo.
I changed up my thumbnail process, and went with pure color roughs. For the upgrade portion of the illustrations, the trees, sky and grass had the most changes in terms of upgrades.
Rune Master is an upcoming mobile & desktop puzzle game to be made by White Box Gaming. White Box Gaming's Twitter can be found @ WhiteBox_Games.

color 1 flats
color 2 clouds, trees, some shadow work
color 3 shadow shapes, lighting
color 4 - adjusting shadows
color 5 - fixing trees, readjusting shadow colors, adding some local color back
color 6 - building up material and texture of trees
color 7 - more material & build up on grass
color 8 - redid some parts of the grass, and redid the clouds.
color 9 - furthering the dirt detailing, and adjusting areas of the grass and trees
color 10 - Got rid of birds and more detail to trees' leaves due to client's request, also adjusted shadow indications
color 11 - color balance adjustments
